Thirty years ago, David and Heather Linstrom visited Door County for their honeymoon and fell in love with the area. Today, they’re happy to serve rich coffee, mouthwatering food, handmade pastries, and desserts and provide memories for other families visiting Door County at their bakery—Fika Bakery & Coffeehouse. So, what is a Fika? It’s a Scandinavian tradition, meaning to take a daily rest with friends and family to enjoy coffee and something sweet. You couldn’t pick a better name for this bakery!
When you visit Fika, you can enjoy Swedish coffee paired with muffins, scones, turnovers, pound cakes, and famous cinnamon rolls. They also offer meals for breakfast and lunch, including soups, salads, quiche, authentic Swedish meatballs, and more.

At Cultured we offer our traditional sourdough loaves, focaccia and bagels, and also a variety of cookies and sweet treats. Our cafe menu includes a selection of sandwiches made of our own baked goods and fresh seasonal ingredients sourced from our local partners in Door County. We still love to create and craft – everything on our menu is from scratch – and moves with the seasons. From our pickled onions to our kimchi; our chipotle mayonnaise to our giardinera; our mushroom pate to our lemon curd; and everything in between we handcraft in-house.
