1. Steel Bridge Songfest (June)

The Steel Bridge Songfest not only showcases support for the old steel bridge in Sturgeon Bay, but it also brings up-and-coming songwriters, musicians, and music fans together for a full weekend of music and heart. It was invented when a grassroots band called, “Save Our Bridge” was formed to save the historic Sturgeon Bay Bridge from demolition in 1996. Today, artists and bands from all over the nation come to play their music just for you, many of which they have yet to release to the public. The performers don’t ask for donations, they simply play their music to show support for the community and their love for music.

2. Door County Lighthouse Festival (June)

Door County is home to some of the most beautiful and historic lighthouses in the region. Each summer, visitors will have the opportunity to see them all up close and learn their stories, even the beacons that are usually closed to the public. The Door County Lighthouse Festival is a one-of-a-kind opportunity that you won’t want to skip.

3. Door County Beer Festival (June)

Good times are always brewing during the Door County Beer Festival! Over 200 breweries attend this exciting event and even grant you the opportunity to meet and converse with the brewer’s themselves. Top chefs from local Door County restaurants will also be in attendance to share their most delicious creations with you.

4. Door County Wine Fest (June)

Wine lovers, unite! The Door County Wine Fest is one of the peninsula’s largest celebrations and the most anticipated event of the summer. The festival only features products crafted in Door County and treats attendees to delectable local wines, tasty cheeses, a surplus of food, and live entertainment. You’re invited to experience the event that attracts more than 3,000 visitors annually and indulge in all the Door County fare.

5. Egg Harbor Independence Day Celebration (July)

Celebrate our nation’s independence with a patriotic parade, live music, plenty of food, and a fireworks display during the Egg Harbor Independence Day Celebration! The party is held over two days, so even if you miss some of the fun, you can always come back for more.

6. Door County Fair (August)

The Door County Fair is a highly anticipated event full of classic carnival fun and exciting events unique to the region! Take a ride on the Ferris wheel, meet a wide array of farm animals, or catch a concert by local artists! 7. Cherry Fest (August)

Door County is known for its deliciously sweet cherries, and the annual Cherry Fest celebrates the harvest of Wisconsin’s beloved fruit. 8. Sister Bay Marina Fest (September)

Held the Saturday before Labor Day, the Sister Bay Marina Fest is one of the most popular Door County events. With Door County live music, an abundance of food and beverages, fireworks, and a classic wooden boat show, there are plenty of ways to enjoy this unique festival.

9. Harvest Festival and Street Auction (September)

Celebrate the bountiful beauty fall brings to Door County at the annual Harvest Festival! In addition to enjoying stunning autumn views, you can attend a classic car show, craft fair, and in-store specials. Food vendors and live entertainment will also be available for guests. After the festival, be sure to stick around for the Street Art Auction!

10. Sister Bay Fall Fest (October)

Known as the “Grandaddy” of all Door County Festivals, the Sister Bay Fall Fest is a very popular fall event.  It will be celebrating its 73rd year with a classic car show, arts and crafts, a fun parade, and the famous Ping Pong Ball Drop! This event is one of the most anticipated on the entire peninsula, making it an absolute must during your visit!

11. Pumpkin Patch Festival (October)

The Pumpkin Patch Festival is a carnival that celebrates the true autumn spirit! Unleash your inner child on the carnival rides, browse the creative pumpkin and scarecrow displays, be wowed by a roaming magician, or participate in a silent auction! 12. Jack-O-Lantern Days (October)

Put the “eek” in Fish Creek during Jack O’ Lantern Days, a local Halloween celebration. Although this is a family-friendly event, adults will find plenty of fun things to do, as well! Enjoy an Adults Only Art Night at the Hands On Art Studio, a trolley ghost tour, an interactive owl demonstration, a costume contest, and so much more!
