About the Third Avenue Playhouse
The Third Avenue Playhouse opened its doors in June 2012. This 84-seat converted movie theater has quickly become a successful performing arts theater. The organization puts on a variety of productions, including comedies, musicals, dramas, and operas. Past successful performances include: Billy Bishop Goes to War, Lungs, and Shinbone Alley.
Third Avenue Playhouse offers more than excellent stage productions. Their special events, such as concerts and comedy shows, feature local and nationally known talent. Every holiday season, the Hagen Family Christmas show, put on by a local folk musician, delights families throughout the county.
