Door County Lighthouse Tours

Each year, the Door County Maritime Museum hosts special opportunities for locals and visitors to get up close and personal with this Wisconsin icons. In the past, there was an annual Door County Spring Lighthouse Festival. Starting in 2025, they will host four separate Door County lighthouse tours in a series of events called the Door Peninsula Lighthouse Passport Days.

These unique Door County lighthouse tours will occur across three separate Friday and Saturday dates in May, June, and October. The tour will also happen on National Lighthouse Day in early August. They provide rare and exclusive access to 11 lighthouse in Door County and the surrounding area, including Chambers Island, Plum Island, and Sherwood Point—locations that are typically closed to the public. While these historic sites can often be seen from afar or by boat, Passport Days open the doors for unforgettable, up-close experiences available only during this special event.
