After being gone for two years, the Door County Wine Fest returns and moves to Baileys Harbor. Door County Living and 106.9 The Lodge come together to bring you this memorable, wine-filled event. Whether or not you enjoy wine, you will also find a multitude of other activities that will keep you entertained all day long! Fantastic Local Wineries
Eight of Door County’s best wineries are present at the event to give samples and teach you everything you need to know about their wine-making process. You will also find many of these wineries along the Door County Wine Trail. Here are the ones we most highly recommend you try!
Harbour Ridge Winery: Harbour Ridge has already established itself as one of the best premium winemakers in the county! You’ll find an array of red, white, and fruit wines on their menu, each boasting only the finest local ingredients. Many visitors have raved over their out-of-the-ordinary yet irresistible flavors such as chocolate, plum, cherry, and more!
Stone’s Throw Winery: Stone’s Throw uses delicious California grapes to create their classic wines. Their traditional selections range from whites, reds, and sparkling. They are sure to satisfy your very specific tastes!
Door 44 Winery: At exactly 44 degrees north latitude, you’ll find the world-renowned Italian grape growing regions. That is how Door 44 Winery earned its name! They heavily rely on the tried and true processes of the European winemakers, but also add some Door County specialties! Their passion for what they do shows in their expertly crafted wines that have raked in several awards.
An Abundance of Live Music Performances
Live performances on multiple stages during the event mean you’ll never be bored! Although this year’s calendar has yet to be announced, you can expect to hear some of the best up-and-coming local bands in the region.
