Art Galleries in Door County
Culture in the Country
Located in Sister Bay, this art gallery features the original hand-carved wood carvings of David Frykman, spectacular photography by Heather Harle Frykman and Lucas Frykman, and stoneware pottery and sculpture by master potter Steve Jorgenson.
Hands On Art Studio is a do-it-yourself Door County destination, offering patrons a freewheeling walk-in art experience, no reservations needed. You as the artist can choose from a large variety of art projects including fused glass, jewelry, metal sculpture, mosaics, spin art and a wide selection of wood, metal and ceramic pieces to paint.
Housed in a restored fruit barn built in 1918, the gallery presents monthly changing feature shows, along with general exhibits of work by over 150 artists. Paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood and jewelry are all represented.
Our guests have found this gallery to be a showcase of the contemporary, casual lifestyle of the Door County peninsula. Home décor, fine art and crafts, garden accessories, gifts, gadgets and more.
A non-profit organization with the sole purpose of promoting and encouraging local artists, inspiring local youth in creative ways, supporting emerging artists and celebrating the Peninsula’s veteran artists.
With two locations; Water Street Gallery in Ephraim and Art of Door County in Fish Creek, they offer Door County art by many local and area artists.
