Sweet Sounds Abound at the Peninsula Music Festival
The Peninsula Music Festival is celebrating its 67th season this summer. From August 6-24th, the orchestra will play nine awe-inspiring concerts at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek. Read on to learn more about what 2019’s Peninsula Music Festival has in store!
2019 Concert Schedule
This year, Door County’s professional symphony orchestra will perform past favorites and new masterpieces. The talented Victor Yampolsky will conduct all of the concerts except for the night of August 20th, when guest conductor Yaniv Dinur will direct. The performers come from some of America’s best orchestras and undergo an open audition. This year’s musicians represent Dallas, Milwaukee, Omaha, St. Louis, and more.
The 2019 schedule has something for everyone. From classics like “The Star Spangled Banner” to a saxophone concerto and Hungarian folk songs, the symphony continues to delight and impress attendees.
