Mission of the Door Shakespeare Company
Since 1995, Door Shakespeare has strived to produce relevant and entertaining productions based on the works of William Shakespeare and other classical playwrights. They hope to enhance the theatrical experience through artistic excellence and educational opportunities designed for audiences of all ages.
Door Shakespeare 2018 Season
Starting June 28th, Door Shakespeare has an exciting lineup of shows planned for this year. The shows will also be held outdoors, so be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair to fully enjoy these incredible performances under the stars.
Much Ado About Nothing (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:30 p.m.)
When world-weary Benedick and Claudio return from war, they find themselves reacquainted with Beatrice and Hero. As Claudio and Hero fall madly and deeply in love, Benedick and Beatrice reignite their own combative courtship.
The Comedy of Errors (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 5 p.m.)
Set in the city of Ephesus, The Comedy of Errors follows the misadventures of two sets of identical twins. After becoming separated from their twins, Dromino and Antipholus travel to Ephesus and become confused when the locals seem to know them. Little do they know that their long lost twins reside in that same city.
